The Holidays & Other Amazing News!

In November Brandon's Mother, Joanne, visited from Cloquet, MN. She was here for the week of Thanksgiving. We really enjoyed having her here, although the weather could have been a little warmer. It rained and was in the 60's the majority of the time. Above is a picture of her with Ginger. We also had cooked our first Thanksgiving dinner. Some friends came over and we had a good day of football, games and food! Below is the table of food :)

In December we found out amazing news. We are pregnant, after 1 1/2 years of trying, a few procedures and tests, and many prayers! God is good! We are due August 17th, 2010 -- just 4 days after our 5th Anniversary :) Check out our babysite at: http://www.babysites.com/sites/delacey/?seq=1
We spent Christmas day with Brandon's Dad and Step-Mom here in Florida. It was a nice quiet Christmas, probably one of the last for a long time.

Our Fall Trip to Minnesota

We went to Minnesota for a long weekend, October 16-20. It was a fun, but quick trip. On Friday night we flew in and stayed with our friends, Russell and Adele Slygh, in Edina. On Saturday morning we met my Aunt Nancy and Cousin Dani Marie for breakfast. It had been almost 2 years since we'd seen her (she was our flower girl).

On Saturday afternoon Brandon's cousin Krista got married, in Hutchinson. Brandon did a reading in the wedding and it was great to see all of his family, and of course the beautiful couple.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Dan Berkner!!

Brandon and his Dad at the wedding. See the family resemblance at all?!?!

Us at the wedding :)

This is Brandon's Uncle Roger with his new Grandson Devin. He was 5 weeks old and fun to watch during the wedding! Congratulations Angela and Justin :)

On Sunday we headed up North to Cloquet/Duluth and met Brandon's Mom for lunch. We had a good visit with that part of the family. Then we went and saw my Brother, Chris. (The picture is my brother with Brandon).

We had a an hour to spare before we met my parents for their anniversary dinner, so we walked around Canal Park and enjoyed the gorgeous fall day. It was a crisp 59 degrees with perfect blue skies! My parents celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary! Congratulations Mom & Dad :)

On Monday we visited my Grandma's then had a party at my Parents house to see everyone else. This picture is of my friend Shyanne and I.

Brooklynn our Goddaughter is getting big, she is now 2!

Our 4th Anniversary

Thursday was our 4th Anniversary! Looking back we have done a lot in 4 years. We have lived in 4 different places and 2 different states. We celebrated by going to dinner on Anna Maria Island at The Sandbar. Afterwards we enjoyed the sunset with a walk on the beach. We are both gearing up to start working full-time again.

Our First House

Well we finally did it! We bought a house. I know that some people are not happy that it is in Florida, but we are! It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The best part is it's about 5 miles from Anna Maria Island, where our favorite beach is. We are all moved in and mostly unpacked, but still need to put some color on the walls. The house is very white with the tile and walls being white! Brandon installed doggie doors and a fence so Ginger and Nala can go outside whenever they want. Mindy put up the hammock we bought on our honeymoon 4 years ago in Mexico! We have meet some of the neighbors and they seem nice, a couple on our road are from Minnesota and live here a few months of the year! Very excited to meet them this winter. Hope all is well with everyone!
